Strengthening relationships through understanding
Every relationship experiences challenges. Whether you're feeling disconnected, caught in the same arguments, or navigating a significant life change, couples counselling offers a safe, supportive space where both partners can feel heard and understood. As a BACP-registered person-centred therapist, I provide a warm, neutral and non-judgemental environment where we work together to improve communication, rebuild connection and explore healthier ways of relating to one another. My role is not to take sides, but to support both of you in understanding each other's experiences and moving forward together. Couples often come to therapy for: Communication difficulties Frequent arguments or ongoing conflict Feeling emotionally distant Trust and rebuilding relationships Stress affecting the relationship Family or parenting pressures Life transitions and major changes Intimacy and emotional connection My approach I believe that every couple has their own unique story. Together we'll explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, identify each partner's needs and create practical ways to strengthen your relationship. Sessions are collaborative and paced to suit both of you. There is no expectation to have all the answers—we simply begin with where you are today. What to expect 60-minute online sessions Available via Microsoft Teams. A confidential, inclusive and respectful space Evening appointments available The first session allows us to understand your relationship, discuss your goals and decide how we can work together. Many couples find that simply having a structured space to talk openly is the beginning of positive change. “Sometimes the most important conversation is the one where both people finally feel listened to.”
