Individual counselling

A space to be heard.

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or simply need someone to talk to, individual counselling offers a confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgement. As a BACP-registered person-centred therapist, I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you better understand your experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and move towards the life you want to live. I can support you with: Anxiety and excessive worry Depression and low mood Trauma and difficult life experiences Bereavement and grief Stress and burnout Low self-esteem and confidence Relationship and family difficulties Life transitions and feeling "stuck" What to expect Sessions last 50 minutes and take place online via Microsoft Teams, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, discuss what has brought you to therapy, and explore what you hope to gain from the process. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we work at your pace. “You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes the first step is simply having someone truly listen.” If you're ready to take the first step, I'd be happy to arrange a free consultation to see whether we're the right fit.
